A celebration of drag's rich history as art. Drag artists compete for a crown, cash prizes, and an official title to serve as an ambassador for Arkansas' LGBTQIA+ community. Open to Arkansas residents over 18.
Categories are
Presentation/Pride Attire: Creative outfits reflecting personal style and community celebration. Must be colors representing a section of the community. ( Trans flag, rainbow, etc)
Talent: lip-syncing, live singing, dancing, or comedic acts. Acts must be no more than 5 minutes long, with 2 minutes for setup/breakdown. Props & set designs allowed. No flames, live animals, or liquid permitted. Music must be in MP3 format and will be collected at registration.
On-Stage Q&A: Testing public speaking skills and advocacy awareness. Showcase your artistry and community leadership to become Arkansas PRIDEfest's next inclusiveLGBTQIA+ royalty.

Reel Queer is produced by Kaleidoscope Arts and Culture. Our mission is to provide innovative and unique programming that will engage the hearts and minds of audiences in Arkansas and the surrounding regions. Its main event is the Reel Queer Film Festival.
The festival celebrates the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community and filmmakers by presenting poignant and thought-provoking films documenting LGBT+ lives truthfully and with respect. The festival exhibits the power of film to transform the lives and opinions of those both inside and outside the community through the universal medium of the cinema.
Reel Queer is Arkansas's only major outlet for LGBTQIA+ films and filmmakers. Originating under the Central Arkansas Pride umbrella in 2015, it has grown into a premier LGBTQIA+ film festival in the nation.

Reflections of Resilience Day @ the Big Dam Bridge
Thursday, June 11th, 2026, Sunset (8 pm) Meeting at LaHarpe View Park, Little Rock. If you are crossing the bridge from the North Little Rock side, please allow time to join us at 8pm.
Take time with the community to reflect on the lives that were taken on June 12th at the Pulse Night Club in Orlando, FL, with Arkansan Chris Hansen, a survivor of that tragic night. We will gather in peace and solidarity to honor the 49 victims and 53 wounded of the June 12th, 2016, mass shooting. Educating, advocating, facilitating acceptance, and community as we come together in remembrance for those killed by acts of hate, violence, and suicide.
Let’s join together to build a bridge between the gap that divides us. We shine a light for those in the dark, sharing together, we’re uniting our communities and crossing over together with love, hope, support, strength, unity, and healing. Come out and be a part of this beautiful vigil as we observe a moment of silence. Our “Rainbow of Remembrance” experience the beauty of nature as we walk the bridge with family, friends, and pets.
The Big Dam Bridge serves as a connector of our cities here in Central Arkansas, a symbol of how love can build a bridge between our hearts, with our diversity, appreciating the talents that we all bring to the table. Hate has no room here.

AR HIV Awareness and Education Day Tuesday, April 28, 1-5 pm
On Tuesday, April 28, a coalition of Arkansas advocates, public health professionals, and community members will be at the Arkansas Capitol for an HIV Awareness & Education Day. The coalition will be there to raise awareness and educate. We will be in Old Supreme Court room from 1-5pm.
Our goal is to share the latest educational information on community health issues, including HIV in Arkansas, and discuss how state policy can support the fight to end the AIDS epidemic here at home. Our community health affects us all.
This is an opportunity to have a real conversation with experts about a public health issue that affects folks living in every corner of our state. We will have current data, resources, and advocates from across Arkansas available to answer questions.

The Diamond State Rodeo Association (DSRA) Come OUT! Friday, April 24th-26th, for a purpose-driven weekend of community.
Rodeo events will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 25th and 26th, beginning at 11:00 am each day. What is offered: Rough Stock– Bull Riding, Steer Riding and Chute Dogging; Roping – Calf Roping on Foot, Breakaway Roping, and Team Roping; Speed – Barrel Riding, Flag Race and Pole Bending; and Camp– Steer Decorating, Wild Drag Race and Goat Dressing. Ranch Saddle Bronc Riding will not be offered.

Visiting family for the holidays can be an anxiety-inducing affair, but for many of our LGBTQ+ loved ones, a lot can be at stake. Whether it’s fear of being outed, navigating tense conversations from unsupportive family members, or negative family reactions to meeting a partner or spouse, there are a LOT of worst case scenarios to potentially brace for.
While there are countless great articles about how LGBTQ+ people can better handle holiday stress and conflict, few resources share how allies can be part of creating a supportive and inclusive space for their LGBTQ+ friends this time of year.

Mental Health Workshop for Youth and Adults -Queer Collective and Central Arkansas Pride Youth Leadership Academy
When you hear "First Aid for Dumpster Fires" I hope you know what we mean:
a realistic look at the hard work of managing emotions and mental health in today's challenging environment.
It's hard for adults. It's hard for teens too.
The Queer Collective and Youth Leadership Academy of Central Arkansas Pride are partnering once again for a Saturday afternoon mental health workshop on Nov. 15th in Little Rock.
Parents and Teens, YOU are invited to join us and two of professional counselors to:
1) Rest and reflect - eat snacks and consider challenges to your peace of mind
2) Move into a teens and adults breakout group to work with licensed professionals to work on destressing, conversation tools, anxiety management, and talking through potential stressors (like finals, the holidays, or managing social media/news intake).
3) Returning to a big group to practice a few simple grounding exercises.
We plan on having food, water, handouts, resources and some tools to give away! The goal is to leave feeling renewed.
It's perfect for you and your youth to attend together, or separately - and definitely gives you a discussion item for a later conversation.
